Classic Filipino Bread Pudding
Made from left over pan americano from Panaderia ni Pa-a. I tore the bread into small pieces then added some warm milk. Set aside for 1- 2 hours, then added a cup of sugar, 1 and half tetra pack of evaporated milk, 2 slightly beaten eggs and vanilla. Steam bake for 30-35 minutes or until the cake tester comes our clean. You can add drained crushed pineapples, raisins, nuts,chocolate chips...etc.
This is super easy, cheap and delicious. Best eaten chilled!
